This is an overview of Canadian knifemaker Brian Tighe's Tighe Coon. True to form, Brian has created a very useful, classic minimalist knife that's ergonomic, well built and relatively affordable for a custom folding knife. This special edition Coon is in blackout DLC and features a special tritium ambi thumbstud that, while a little difficult to see in daylight, is just plain cool. The knife is both elegant and tactical, it conceals like a chameleon in both jeans and dress pants, and is light enough to carry effortlessly all day. It bucks the industry trend, maintaining a sleek, understated and classic appearance while at the same time riffing on Brian's traditional modern style. In my opinion this is one of the best sub-750$ custom folders a person can get, highly recommended.
